Marketing is first and foremost about the consumer. And consumers benefit from content that is relevant to them, not from large marketing budgets.

What makes content marketing so special is that it is inbound marketing. Because the consumer should be led to the content as independently as possible and, above all, decide for themselves whether they want to engage with the content. Of course, this is in contrast to outbound marketing or classic advertising, in which the advertisement is simply shown to the customer on their display, whether they want it or not.

First, you will learn how to audit your existing content. Of course, this only applies to you if you already have content. if that is the case, then such an audit is very helpful to be able to reuse old content.
Especially important in the beginning is keyword research and collecting ideas. Here you want to make sure that a keyword has enough volume, that it fits your brand and that it is undersaturated, i.e. that there is not already too much content.

Other topics such as content distribution and measuring success are also addressed in this book. On the whole, it is a very good book to get an overview. So if you are still at the beginning, i can only recommend this book!

Data plays an important role in marketing. And in the area of content marketing, it can be used along the entire process to make decisions.

In the area of keyword research, for example, data is indispensable. We want to know how many searches a certain keyword has before we target it. Data is also particularly useful in evaluating the various channels on which content is ultimately displayed.
